Painted in watercolour, Buddha 2 continues one of my favourite themes. Built up in multiple layers of both transparent and opaque pigment, this one is a really rich intense image. As with all my work, it’s all about the balance of serenity and energy and there’s always plenty of paint flying about as I create each piece!
This original watercolour measures 35.1cm x 45.3cm (painting only) and the total frame size is 61cm x 71 cm.
The watercolour boards I use provide plenty of stability, preventing the painting from warping, and the generous 3.5 inch double mount gives the image space to breathe. A gloss black frame creates a contemporary feel, with glass protecting the artwork. The painting comes with D-rings and cord attached, so it’s ready to hang.
Great care is taken to make sure your purchase reaches you in perfect condition, using custom made double-walled cardboard packaging, with extra internal protection for the glass and corners.
